2K War Memorial Walk

Lesson: History

On Monday the 12th of November we went on our 'War memorial Walk'. In history we have been learning about World War 1 and wanted to show our respect by visiting the memorial. The previous week we had made a poppy wreath and talked about why poppies are used to remember the soldiers who fought in the war. We took the wreath with us and after our minutes silence we laid the wreath on the cenotaph. Back in school we wrote a recount of our morning.
