Welcome to Class 1JG!

                  Mrs Johnson         Ms Gondal

Mrs Johnson will be teaching on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Ms Gondal will be teaching on a Wednesday and Thursday.

We are really excited to start our learning adventures with you. We will put lots of information on this page so keep checking back regularly.  If you scroll to the bottom of the page you will find important information for Year 1 in our 'Files to Download' section.

Our Classroom

At the beginning of the year, our classroom will look a lot like your classroom in Reception. We will have areas of provision that you will spend time learning in such as a Writing Area, Maths Area, Phonics Area, Construction Area, Block Area, Enquiry Area, Reading Area and Creative Area. We will be busy over the summer getting the classroom ready for you. These photos give you an idea of what it will look like:

• Reading books changed: Monday and Friday
• Library books changed: Every other Wednesday
• Reading racetrack books in: Friday (we will tell you all about this soon!)
• PE days: Monday/Wednesday
