Celebrations! Diwali and Fireworks!

We have been talking about Diwali, the Hindu festival of light. We know that houses are decorated, delicious foods are eaten and special clothes are worn during the festival of light. We also learned about Rangoli patterns that can be seen during Diwali, and are used to welcome guests to your home. We drew our own Rangoli patterns outside.

We also talked about fireworks on bonfire night. We know that fireworks can be fun, but can also be dangerous so we talked about the rules to keep us safe. We had fun using different materials to create our own firework pictures!
